Shreveport, LA – According to the officials, the unified response team reportedly includes personnel from the Baton Rouge Fire Department, East Side Fire Department, West Feliciana Fire Department, East Baton Rouge EMS, Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office, Monroe Fire Department, West Monroe Fire Department, Ouachita Parish Fire Department, and Caddo Fire Districts 1 and 4.
The team safely arrived at the Orlando Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, where they have established reliable communications and prepped all necessary equipment. Currently, LA-TF2 is staged and awaiting mission assignments.
This collaborative effort aims to enhance the state’s readiness and response capabilities during emergencies, ensuring that Louisiana’s communities are supported by skilled and equipped personnel when needed.
