Shreveport, LA – According to the state officials, this change in traffic configuration follows a traffic study that included an analysis of crash history and sight distance.

The data indicated the necessity to convert the intersection to an all-way stop to enhance safety.

Motorists are advised to remain aware of the new configuration, eliminate distractions while driving, and stay alert to their surroundings and any changing conditions.

Research has shown that converting an intersection to an all-way stop can potentially reduce crashes at specific locations.
