SPD Community Liaison Officers and Neighborhood Assistance Team members recently visited Alphonse Jackson Head Start and Faith Lutheran Head Start

Shreveport, LA – According to the police officials, SPD Community Liaison Officers and Neighborhood Assistance Team members recently visited Alphonse Jackson Head Start and Faith Lutheran Head Start, bringing an interactive experience to the children there.

During the visit, PCO LeSane joined the team at Alphonse Jackson Head Start, providing coloring books that delighted the kids.

Officers read stories, handed out stickers and bracelets, and offered the children a close-up view of a patrol unit, fostering positive connections with the community’s youngest members.

SPD members shared their enthusiasm for engaging with the children, noting the importance of building trust and familiarity with local law enforcement.
