Governor announces new Chief Information Officer for Office of Technology Services

Louisiana – Governor Landry announced Evelina Broussard as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Office of Technology Services on Tuesday, February 5, 2025. Broussard brings over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology field, emphasizing the importance of relationships and people in technology.

During the announcement, Governor Landry expressed confidence in Broussard’s ability to lead OTS, highlighting her commitment to making Louisiana’s programs highly effective and well-structured.

“We are excited to announce that Evelina Broussard is the Chief Information Officer for OTS,” said Landry. “I have no doubt that Evelina will work tirelessly to make sure that Louisiana’s programs are well-structured and highly effective.”

Broussard, for her part, shared her enthusiasm for the role and commitment to working alongside her team to improve the state’s operations. “We all have the same goal, and that is to make this state as safe and efficient as possible,” she said. “We are all One Team. OTS is here to support our state agencies. I look forward to working and growing with each and every one of you.”

As the new CIO, Broussard is poised to guide OTS in its mission to enhance the effectiveness of state government through innovative technology solutions.
