Shreveport, LA – In observance of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) is inviting the community to participate in a “Walk With Purpose” event to honor the brave survivors of violent crimes and their families.

The event will take place on Monday, April 7, from 6 PM to 8 PM in Downtown Shreveport. Participants will gather at the starting point, located at the intersection of Texas Street and Marshall Street, in front of the courthouse.

“Walk With Purpose” symbolizes CPSO’s ongoing commitment to standing in solidarity with crime victims, advocating for their rights, and fostering a stronger, more compassionate community. The event will serve as an opportunity to raise awareness and provide support for survivors of crime.

Those interested in participating are encouraged to register in advance by contacting Malaysia Simon at 318-681-0870.
