Shreveport, LA – According to the police officials, provisional Jail Superintendent Inetta Adams was officially appointed as Jail Superintendent, making history as the first woman to command the Shreveport City Jail. Adams has been serving the department with distinction since May 1993.
Police Vehicle Technician II, Roy Brammer, was promoted to Superintendent of Vehicle Maintenance. Brammer, who has been with the department since April 2016, will now oversee the vehicle maintenance operations.
Jailer II, Conteril Davis, was elevated to Jailer III. Davis has shown exceptional dedication since joining the department in May 2002.
Jailer I, Symphany Mays, was promoted to Jailer II. Mays has been a valued member of the team since March 2018, demonstrating remarkable commitment to her role.
Police Vehicle Technician I, Austin Baccarie, was advanced to Vehicle Technician II. Baccarie, who has been serving since June 2019, will now take on greater responsibilities within the vehicle maintenance division.
Chief Wayne Smith expressed his pride in the newly promoted members, stating that their hard work and dedication have been instrumental in their advancements. The ceremony celebrated their achievements and recognized their contributions to the department.
