Shreveport, LA – According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, the 34-year-old man, later identified as Victor Llanito, reportedly owns SBC Bail Bonds and co-owns a thrift shop business.

He is accused of orchestrating a scheme to unlawfully detain and coerce his business partner.

The incident occurred on April 24 when Llanito allegedly instructed his bond agents to place his business partner in custody and transport her in handcuffs to his office in Caddo Parish without her consent.

Llanito serves as the bondsman for the victim in another criminal case, complicating the dynamics of their business relationship.

Once at the office, the victim was forced to sign a lease release form intended to remove her from the thrift shop business. This action resulted in a financial loss of $104,400 to the victim. After the document was signed and notarized, the victim was permitted to leave.

Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Roosevelt Tadlock led the investigation, obtaining a warrant for Llanito’s arrest on charges of extortion and false imprisonment. Llanito (SEE PHOTO) turned himself in at the Caddo Correctional Center on June 25, where he now faces serious legal consequences for his actions.

The case underscores the severity of misuse of power within business relationships and highlights the importance of legal protections for victims of such crimes.
