Indianapolis, IN – According to the police officials, the 59-year-old dad, later identified as Timotthy, was taken into custody and later charged with multiple charges after he reportedly murdered his child, 31-year-old, Chrlstopher. Police officials said the suspect was initially charged with aggravated battery, but the Prosecutor’s Office will decide if the charges will be upgraded after the death of his son.
Last week, officers responded to the suspect’s home after the 911 caller told the dispatcher that their friend was stabbed and was bIeeding very bad. The responding officers made contact with the victim and realized that he suffered severe stab wounds. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead the following day.
During an interview with investigators, the victim’s friend, who is also the witness who called the authorities, Jeremiah, reportedly said that he saw the victim and his dad getting into an argument about the most absurd thing – dlrty dlshes in the kitchen. Shortly after their argument, the father and the son grappled each other to the ground. Then, the father began stabbing the 31-year-old man with a spoon.
When his son told his friend to grab the spoon and Jeremiah was able to take the spoon out of his hand, the father grabbed ‘something sharp’, from the kitchen and plunged into his son, the witness also told authorities. The 59-year-old dad then realized what he’s done and tried to apply pressure on the stab wounds. The victim’s friend also told investigators that his 31-year-old friend was bIeeding very bad. The 59-year-old suspect is being held without bond. This incident remains under investigation.
