Los Angeles, CA – According to the police officials, the little girl, later identified as 4-year-old Zoe, was mauIed to death by the family’s pet in the family’s back yard. According to the child’s parents, the girl was killed while she was getting out of the pooI. The fatal incident occurred earlier this month at the family’s residence.

The child was mauIed to death by the family’s dog while she was getting out of her kiddie pooI. The child’s dad, Erik, went inside their home to grab a toweI when the family’s dog set on the little girl. When the child’s dad returned, the family’s dog bit the child’s armpit. The girl was rushed to the hospital, where doctors later pronounced her dead.

The girl’s family members told local news outlets that the child had been around the Pit BuII for more than two years and the family was in disbelief that it would attack her. They also said that the pet would always play with her and they would always be around each other. The family also said ‘they have no clue what the reason was or why the dog even did this in the first place’. Per reports, the girl’s mom and dad even have a social media page dedicated to their pit bull, TLH where they posted photos of the dog.

In a GoFundMe campaign set up to support the family with funeral costs, she described Zoe as a vibrant and loving’ girl. Per reports, the family also said they are traumatized and don’t plan on getting another dog because they have two other infant children. The dog was taken by animal control and euthanized that evening at the family’s request. Pit buII supporters maintain ‘the deadly attack on the girl was an anomaly’.
