Nashville, TN – According to the police officials, the 35-year-old man, later identified as Dandre, was arrested and later charged with multiple charges, including: attempted first-degree murder, domestic assault and other charges after he approached a woman, whom he was in a yearlong relationship with until a few months ago and was pregnant with his child, and began punching her in the face before he pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman dozen times.
This unfortunate incident occurred last week while the victim, who was not identified, was walking with her friends. The investigation process began after the 911 caller told the dispatcher about a injured woman. The responding officers made contact with the victim and realized that she suffered multiple stab wounds. The woman was rushed to the hospital.
While in the hospital, the unidentified victim reportedly told investigators that her former partner, Dandre, approached her and began hitting her in the face. The man then brandished a knife and began stabbing the woman. While he was stabbing his pregnant ex, the man reportedly told her that ‘he told her that he’s going to get her’.
The woman also told investigators that she and the attacker were in a yearlong relationship until a few months ago. The woman also told authorities that she is carrying his baby. This is the 3rd incident which involves the couple. In previous two incidents, the man was taken into custody and charged after he reportedly punched the woman in the face several times. In another incident, he reportedly kept the woman and her children locked in an apartment. Then, the man told the victim that he will kill her if she tries to leave.
