Man arrested after allegedly using lost credit card for over $700 in fraudulent purchases

Shreveport, LA – On December 29, a shopper at Walmart accidentally dropped their credit card at self-checkout.

Shortly after, someone used the card eight times at five different stores, accumulating $721.97 in fraudulent charges.

Shreveport Police Department detectives identified Robert Stinson as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

When SPD Warrants Officers and K-9 Karo located him, Stinson attempted to evade capture by hiding in the mud.

After being treated for minor injuries, Stinson was booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
