Virginia Beach, VA – Authorities in Utah took the 42-year-old Virginia man, Robbert, into custody and later charged with multiple charges, including tampering with a witness, Iewdness involving a child (5 counts) and failure to register as a se* offender in connection with the last week’s incident. Authorities say the defendant organized a party in which between 10 and 12-year-old children were his guests. During the party, the defendant from Virginia reportedly played games with the boys, in which he encouraged them to take off their cIothes and perform indcent acts.

During the investigation process, authorities discovered that one of the victim’s parent was aware of the defendant’s past and still let him around his two children. During an interview with investigators, the children’s dad, who was not identified, reportedly said that he knew the defendant for nearly a decade and during that time, he revealed his criminal history as a se* offender, the father said.

The unidentified parent also told investigators that he also believed his friend had an ‘addition to viewing child se-ual abse material’. The parent also told investigators that the defendant lived with his family for the last 7 months and that he would occasionally check his children out of school. During an interview with investigators, the unidentified dad also said that the defendant recently admitted to him that he had been grooming the two children. The father also added that he now regrets ever believing the defendant and allowing him to be around his children, L&C reported.

During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the defendant organized a ‘party’ and children, between 10 and 12-years-old, were his guests. During the party, the defendant told the boys they should play games. In one of the games, which the defendant called ‘touch your body challenge’, the players should remove their cIothes and perform lndecent acts. The 42-year-old defendant, who is a registered se* offender due to a 2005 se-ual battery conviction, also told the children that they shouldn’t tell anyone what happened at the party because he would be arrested. The 42-year-old defendant is now being held without bond because authorities believe he might be a flight risk.
