Minneapolis, MN – According to the police officials, the 35-year-old defendant from Minnesota, later identified as Josseph, was arrested and later charged with murder after he reportedly killed his partner at a home he was supposed to be in and take care of a woman’s pets while the woman was on a trip in Florida. The investigation process began after the owner of the house called 911 and told the dispatcher that the man that was in her house told her that he killed the woman he was with.
The responding officers made contact with the 35-year-old man, who reportedly had visible injuries on his face and arms. The man reportedly told the officers that the injuries were from the victim and that her body is inside the home. Officers quickly found the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s legs were tied and she had visible marks on her neck. The medical examiner told investigators that the woman was strangled to death.
During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the unidentified woman asked the 35-year-old defendant to stay at her house and take care of her pets while she was in Florida. The woman also told investigators that she communicated with the defendant through messaging app. Hours before the defendant killed his partner, he reportedly told the house owner that the victim wanted to leave. The homeowner said she told the defendant to let the victim leave. Shortly after, all three got on a video call and the house owner told the victim that ‘she needs to stop causing stress’.
Just 30 minutes later, the unidentified owner called the defendant again and asked him what happened. The 35-year-old man reportedly said everything was handled and that ‘his partner is gone and that she wouldn’t stop screaming and he can’t go back to jail’. The 35-year-old man also told the owner that his partner ‘kept screaming and the window was open’. Authorities also discovered a video, in which the victim can be seen with visible marks on her face, crying and unable to stand. In the same video, the victim can be heard telling the defendant ‘look at the bruises on my face from him beating me again’.
