North Carolina – A North Carolina man, identified as 28-year-old lsaac, was sentenced to life in prison after receiving three life terms for the murders of his former girlfriend, 28-year-old Jena, and her parents, 61-year-old CharIes and 61-year-old Cindy. Prosecutors stated that the killings occurred one day after Jena ended her relationship with the defendant.

According to court documents, the defendant pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree murder and was sentenced on Wednesday. The investigation began in October of last year when Jena’s 10-year-old son went to a neighbor’s house, reporting that his grandparents had been shot by his mother’s former boyfriend.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found all three victims with multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities confirmed that the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly after the initial 911 call, the defendant contacted authorities, stating his intention to turn himself in. During the call, he admitted to shooting the victims multiple times. He reportedly expressed remorse for his actions but maintained that he did not regret the reasons behind them. He also mentioned that he needed help.

During the investigation, authorities found that the defendant left work that day and drove to the victims’ residence. Upon arrival, he first shot Jena’s parents. The defendant then placed the firearm against the 10-year-old boy’s head but ultimately allowed him to leave. The boy ran to a neighbor’s house and informed them of the shooting. The neighbors immediately called 911.

After letting the boy go, the defendant took Jena outside the house and shot her multiple times, resulting in her death. Investigators discovered that Jena had ended the relationship with the defendant the day before the shooting. Evidence from the defendant’s phone showed that he was near the scene at the time of the incident.

The court sentenced the defendant to three life terms without the possibility of parole. Authorities noted the tragic impact of the incident on the surviving child, who lost his mother and grandparents in the violent attack. The case has been closed following the defendant’s guilty plea and sentencing.
