Houston, TX – According to the police officials, the 45-year-old parent, later identified as Georgete, was arrested and laetr charged with endangering a child after she reportedly told her child to leave the apartment and then locked the doors, making the girl to sleep outside. When the child woke up in the morning, she reportedly went to the local police station and reported the incident.

According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred over the weekend after the mother, originally from Louisiana, kicked her child, who was not identified due to her age, out of the family’s apartment and refused to open the door. The 12-year-old girl then tried to get back several times, but the parent didn’t unlocked the door. 

The unfortunate child then went to the bench outside and slept through the night. In the morning, she went to the local police station to ask for help. The responding officers made contact with the mother, who reportedly told them that her child ran away. During the investigation process, authorities reportedly discovered that the child was reportedly kicked out of the apartment and the parent refused to open the door. 

The woman was then arrested and later charged. Shortly after the incident, CPS reportedly took custody of the girl and released her to a family member. The mother, who reportedly works as an educator for the local school district, posted a $5,000 bond. Per reports, the mother reportedly kicked her child out of the apartment after they had an argument about one of her friends coming inside to hang out.
