Shreveport law enforcement agencies coordinate safety efforts for Mardi Gras

Shreveport, LA – Shreveport law enforcement and public safety agencies gathered Friday to continue preparations for the upcoming Mardi Gras parades.

Representatives from the Shreveport Police Department, Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, Shreveport City Marshal’s Office, Louisiana Probation and Parole, and the Shreveport Fire Department participated in the meeting.

Officials emphasized the importance of seamless cooperation among public safety partners to ensure a safe environment for paradegoers.

Law enforcement leaders reiterated their commitment to protecting the community and maintaining order during the celebrations.
