Per reports, Shreveport Police Department officials released the following statement:
“The Shreveport Police Department wants to thank the great citizens and businesses that support us daily.
Without you, our department could not function. You are the reason we exist, and the responsibility you bestow upon us is never forgotten.
A special thank you to our amazing citizens and the anonymous business that donated a pallet of Gatorade to our department yesterday.
Our officers work tirelessly in the heat, and your generosity is appreciated more than can imagine!”
