Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Police Department’s Community-Oriented Policing Bureau and the Shreveport Police Union are partnering to host the second annual Crush Endo events, a two-day initiative focused on raising awareness about endometriosis, fibroids, and other female reproductive health conditions.

The event will begin on March 14 at Valencia Park, where attendees can engage in a panel discussion featuring personal stories on how endometriosis affects women’s lives. Dr. Leonard Weather Jr., a professor and expert on the condition, will provide insights on the topic.

On March 15, the event will continue with a walk/run at Columbia Park, aiming to promote awareness and community support.

Organizers encourage residents to participate in the events to help break the silence surrounding these health issues. For more information, contact the Community-Oriented Policing Bureau at 318-673-6950.
