Shreveport, LA – According to the officials, the park, located at 9360 Greenwood Road, underwent a series of upgrades aimed at enhancing accessibility and recreation for visitors of all ages.

The new features include a playground system designed for children aged 2 to 12, complete with ADA-compliant wood mulch safety surfacing, access ramps, and borders.

In addition to the playground system, two swing sets were installed along with a separate baby swing set to accommodate younger visitors. The park also introduced an ADA-inclusive spinner, ensuring that children with disabilities can enjoy the playground safely.

Other notable additions include two play panels and a concrete cornhole board set, offering diverse play options for parkgoers. The park now also features a turf play mound and four ADA-compliant picnic tables, which further enhance the park’s inclusivity.

The completion of these improvements marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts by Caddo Parks and Recreation to create more accessible and engaging outdoor spaces for the community.
