Shreveport, LA – According to the state officials, the road will be closed to all traffic at the Union Pacific railroad tracks from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., weather permitting, to allow Union Pacific Railroad to replace the crossing surface.
In addition to the closure, portions of La. 105 from Main Street to Railroad Avenue will be reduced to one lane.
Flaggers will be stationed at Main Street and Railroad Avenue to assist with traffic control.
The recommended detour for drivers is U.S. 190 to the La. 105 off-ramp.
DOTD expressed its appreciation for the public’s patience and urged drivers to exercise caution around construction sites, keeping an eye out for work crews and their equipment.
