Woman tried to convince her friends, who saw her standing over her partner’s body right after she killed him, to tell police that the man had taken his own life because she couldn’t go back to prison; charged

Milwaukee, WI – According to the police officials, the 39-year-old girlfriend, later identified as Sammantha, was arrested and charged with first-degree lntentional homicide in connection with her partner’s death, who was stabbed to death in July this year. Police officials say the woman killed the man, then told her friends, who arrived at the apartment and saw the victim bleeding to death, to tell police that the man killed himself. 

The woman, who is now being held on $1 million bond, reportedly stabbed her partner to death before she fled the scene. The woman was seen by two witnesses, who wished to remain unidentified, after she reportedly stabbed the man to death. Both witnesses walked into the room and realized that the man was stabbed and was bIeeding severely. The 39-year-old, who was standing over him, reportedly told the witnesses to tell police that her partner stabbed himself because she couldn’t go back to jail. 

The woman then told her partner that she ‘Ioves him’ and fled the scene. The witnesses called 911 and told the dispatcher that their friend was stabbed and was bleeding. First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The 39-year-old woman was taken into custody shortly after.

While officers took the woman into custody, she reportedly said that ‘she just watcher her boyfriend kill himself and now she is being taken into custody’. During the investigation process, authorities reportedly found evidence in the woman’s residence, including a note about how she needs to obtain sub0xone for opioid withdrawa.
