Seattle, WASHINGTON – According to the police officials, the 35-year-old dad, later identified as Dion, was arrested and later charged with multiple charges, including: first-degree murder, homicide and other charges after he reportedly killed his baby. Prosecutors claim the father reportedly shot his baby in the head while the child was sleeping. Shortly after he killed his baby, the father told his wife that he show with blanks.
Prosecutors said that right before he killed his own baby, the 35-year-old dad also shot at the unidentified people on the street. He was also charged for that incident. Earlier this month, first responders arrived on scene in response to shooting call. The responding officers arrived on scene and found the baby, Alasea, shot to death.
The baby, only 8 months old, was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner told investigators that the boy was shot in the head. According to the police officials, the initially took the father into custody after he reportedly shot at the random people on the street. Seconds later, the suspect’s wife and baby’s mom called 911 and told the dispatcher about unresponsive baby.
When officers arrived at her apartment, the woman was holding a gun and told investigators that her husband shot their baby in the eye. During an interview with investigators, the baby’s mom reportedly said that her husband came home late and immediately walked in into their baby’s room. The woman then heard a gunshot and when she asked her husband what happened, he told her that he shot a blank. But the woman rushed into the baby’s room and realized that their baby was shot to death. During an interview with investigators, the baby’s dad reportedly said that he used phencyclidine that day.
