Man, convicted chiId moIester, remains in criticaI condition after parent realized that the man ripped her child’s cIothes while hoIding a firearm, prompting the woman to open fire: police

Indiana authorities reported that the man had a history of chiId moIestation convictions in two counties and was reportedly communicating with the victim online and by phone, attempting to convince her to leave town with him.

According to court documents, the victim and her sibling woke their grandparent when their mother did not return home. They went to the moteI and found the mother and the man in the lobby.
