The Louisiana Department of Health’s Office of Public Health in Northeast Louisiana, in collaboration with community partners, is hosting a free Stepping into Summer Health and Wellness event on Saturday, May 18, 2024

Shreveport, LA – According to the state officials, the event, which will start from 9 a.m. to noon, will take place at the Louisiana Civil Rights Trail, located at 135 Richard Zuber Thruway in Jonesboro.

This health and wellness event promises a day filled with services, information, and fun activities for all ages.

Attendees can participate in a walk/run, interact with OPH and Medicaid vendors, connect with local medical offices, engage in physical activities, and enjoy complimentary food.

The event is made possible through partnerships with the Town of Jonesboro, Pine Belt Multi-Purpose CAA, Inc., and Jonesboro State Bank.
