The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that work has started on a $2,653,000.30 sidewalk project

Shreveport, LA – Per reports, the project entails the reconstruction of new water mains in the City of Carencro, accompanied by additional safety enhancements such as sidewalks, handicap ramps, driveways, and related infrastructure improvements.

The designated routes for this endeavor encompass:

– East Saint Peter Street
– North Church Street
– Andre Street
– Jack Street

This initiative marks the second phase of an ongoing waterline project aimed at enhancing the city’s infrastructure.

Scheduled work hours are anticipated to be from Monday through Friday, spanning from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., contingent upon favorable weather conditions.
