Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office to collect property tax payments ahead of June sale

Shreveport, LA – The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Property Tax Sale is set for June 3, 2025, and officials are urging residents with unpaid 2024 property taxes to act soon.

To make the process more accessible, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office will collect property tax payments in person this Saturday, May 3, at Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Avenue in Shreveport.

Payments will be accepted between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Residents can pay using cash, cashier’s checks, money orders, or credit cards.

This weekend’s collection event gives taxpayers a final opportunity to avoid penalties or inclusion in the upcoming tax sale.

Anyone with outstanding property taxes is encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
