Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of State announced its intention to adopt administrative rules regarding the procurement and use of voting systems within the state.
A public hearing on the proposed rules is scheduled for January 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Division of Administrative Law, located at 1020 Florida Street, Baton Rouge. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend and share their input, either orally or in writing.
Written submissions, signed and dated, can be sent via U.S. Mail, hand-delivery, or email to Tray Wood, General Counsel, at [email protected]. Submissions must be received by 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.

The proposed rule’s effective date will be determined following completion of the Administrative Procedure Act process.
