Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a $1.7 million project to repair a portion of LA 160 on the western side of Webster Parish.
The project spans from Bodcau Creek along the Webster/Bossier Parish line to US 371, covering just over two miles.
Scheduled to begin on Monday, March 3, 2025, the project will start with a southbound right lane closure on LA 160 at its intersection with US 371.
The overall project includes milling to remove the old asphalt, followed by overlaying new asphalt to enhance the travel experience and extend the roadway’s lifespan.
Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures throughout the duration of the project, which is anticipated to be completed by early Summer 2025, weather permitting.
Drivers are advised to proceed with caution, reduce speed in the work zone, and stay alert to changes in traffic conditions.
