Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries sent an online survey to randomly selected freshwater anglers in the Atchafalaya River Basin region via email on Monday, February 17.
The survey aimed to gather information about fishing preferences and opinions, primarily concerning the current state of the Atchafalaya River Basin.
Participation would assist LDWF’s Inland Fisheries Section in better managing fishing in the ARB for Louisiana anglers.
The survey would also be available to all anglers on the LDWF website for two weeks, beginning on Monday, February 24.
For more information about the survey or freshwater fisheries management in the Atchafalaya River Basin, individuals could contact Fisheries Biologist Manager Brac Salyers at [email protected] or 337-735-8711.
