Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that a $1.01 million project to improve LA 380 from LA 14 to LA 26 in Lake Arthur will begin Monday, November 10, 2025.
Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures in both directions of LA 380 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily until the project is complete. Work is expected to be finished by spring 2026, weather permitting.
The project will include milling of asphalt pavement, pavement patching, pavement widening, asphalt concrete overlay, and related improvements. R.E. Heidt has been awarded the contract for the project.
