Louisiana – Louisiana State Police representatives participated in the 2025 National Information Officers Association (NIOA) Conference, where they shared lessons learned from recent public safety challenges across the state.
Major Nick Manale and Sgt. Kate Stegall presented at the event, highlighting the department’s response to a series of emergencies during the first half of the year.
These included the Bourbon Street terrorist attack, historic winter weather, Super Bowl LIX, Mardi Gras 2025, and escapes from the Orleans Parish prison.
The conference brought together public safety professionals from across the country to exchange best practices, strengthen communication strategies, and improve coordination during critical incidents.
