Shreveport, LA – Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop G, in collaboration with certified child seat technicians from the Louisiana Child Passenger Safety Task Force, participated in a child seat event at Ochsner LSU Health-St. Mary Medical Center in Shreveport.
During the event, Troopers and technicians worked together to install child seats for parents and provided valuable information on the importance of properly restraining children. Their efforts aimed to reduce the risk of serious injury in the event of a crash.
Louisiana State Police emphasized the critical role that proper child restraint systems play in keeping young passengers safe on the road. Officers and technicians also discussed child seat laws, recommendations, and the importance of using the right seat for a child’s age, height, and weight.
Troopers across the state continue to prioritize proactive safety and education initiatives designed to protect children on Louisiana’s roadways.
