Man arrested for allegedly swapping expensive rings with counterfeits in Shreveport pawn shop

Shreveport, LA – Shreveport police reported the arrest of Michael Cobb after he allegedly swapped two high-value rings with counterfeit versions at a local pawn shop on Sept. 19.

The rings were reportedly valued at $1,999 and $2,499.

Police said surveillance cameras captured Cobb’s actions during the incident.

Authorities noted that this is not Cobb’s first arrest, as he has previous encounters with law enforcement in multiple states.
