Man wanted for pawning stolen $6,000 wedding ring belonging to family member

Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Police Department has issued a warrant for a man accused of pawning a family member’s $6,000 wedding ring.

Investigators said detectives traced the missing ring to a pawn shop in Ruston, where it had been sold by Chad Russell.

Police said Russell has a history of property-related crimes, including theft and illegal possession of stolen items.

According to SPD, Russell has been arrested more than a dozen times for similar offenses. He is now wanted on a felony theft charge in connection with the incident.
