
Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from a local business.
According to police, the theft occurred on Nov. 22 just after 4 p.m. at a business in the 7000 block of Youree Drive. Investigators said the suspect selected multiple items from the men’s department, placed them inside a clothes basket, and ran out of the store without paying.
Surveillance footage reportedly shows the suspect moving throughout the store before sprinting past the registers with the stolen merchandise.
Police identified the suspect as Terrence Washington, who is charged with felony theft. Authorities said Washington is also wanted by the Bossier City Police Department and has multiple felony theft warrants in Texas.
