Shreveport, LA – Officers with the Shreveport Police Department attempted to stop a stolen Dodge Durango earlier in the evening, leading to a pursuit that ended in the 3400 block of Gorton Street. Police said the vehicle lost control and crashed at the end of the chase.
Following the crash, three armed individuals exited the vehicle and fled on foot. During the incident, one Street Level Interdiction Unit agent discharged their firearm. One suspect was quickly taken into custody, while a second suspect was later located hiding in a wooded area during a large-scale search. A third suspect remains outstanding.
Police said multiple firearms were recovered and seized during the investigation. The search effort included the deployment of the department’s drone team and aerial assistance from the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office helicopter.
No injuries were reported. The incident remains under active investigation, and additional updates are expected to be released as more information becomes available.
