
Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Police Department has arrested Keven L. Washington in connection with a homicide that occurred on December 1, 2025, at the intersection of Clyde Fant Parkway and Oden Street.
Officers responding to the scene discovered a light blue vehicle that had crashed. Inside was Michael Allen, an adult Black male, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported by the Shreveport Fire Department to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle fled to a nearby residence after the crash and was later transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives identified Washington as a possible suspect and executed a search warrant at his residence.
Washington was initially arrested on December 11, 2025, on an unrelated firearm charge. Further investigation linked him to the December 1 shooting, and he was formally charged with one count of Second Degree Murder on December 29, 2025.
