Shreveport bombers honored for youth state championship

Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Bombers were officially recognized at Thursday’s City Council meeting for winning the Youth State Championship.

One of the team’s coaches, Officer Brandon Hancock, is also a member of the Shreveport Police Department D.A.R.E. Team.

His involvement highlights the department’s commitment to community engagement through mentorship and youth programs.

The recognition celebrated both the team’s athletic achievement and the positive impact of officers supporting local youth.
