Shreveport, LA – This past week, the Shreveport Fire Department hosted a comprehensive 16-hour Advanced Medical Life Support course.

The course was led by the department’s Medical Director, Dr. David Janese, and Craig Menefee, who provided crucial instruction to the participating first responders.

The department expressed its gratitude to all those who took part in the training, as well as to Dr. John Felty, who contributed his expertise in the emergency airway portion of the course.

This training is a vital part of ensuring that Shreveport’s first responders are equipped with the skills necessary to handle medical emergencies and provide the best possible care to the community.
