Shreveport Police Department gives away 200 backpacks filled with school supplies to local families

Shreveport, LA – Yesterday, members of the Shreveport Police Department’s Community Oriented Policing Bureau and Neighborhood Assistance Team gave away 200 backpacks filled with school supplies to local families in preparation for the first day of school tomorrow.

The event brought excitement and smiles as children received backpacks with everything they need to start the school year ready to learn.
