Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Police Department announced several officer promotions, recognizing years of service and commitment to the department and the community.
Chief Smith promoted Ben Raymond from sergeant to lieutenant, along with Leroy Bates, Ronald DeBello, and Zach Johnson from corporal to sergeant.
Department officials said the promotions reflect long hours, sacrifice, and dedication to public service.
Leadership within the department is earned through character, integrity, and service, qualities officials said each of the newly promoted officers has demonstrated throughout their careers.
The department expressed confidence in the officers’ ability to succeed in their new roles and thanked them for their continued service to the citizens of Shreveport.
