Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Jamelvion “Jojo” Lewis, who is wanted in connection with a shooting earlier this week.

According to investigators, Lewis, 18, allegedly opened fire on a home in the 2600 block of Wagner Avenue on August 12. The residence was struck multiple times, though no one inside was reported seriously injured.

Police said Lewis is wanted for attempted second-degree murder and should be considered armed and dangerous. Records show he was previously arrested in April on a gun-related charge.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Lewis’s whereabouts to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373, where cash rewards are available.
