Shreveport police seek woman accused of forging checks from local church

Shreveport, LA – Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department’s White Collar Crimes Division are searching for Ebony Wilson, who is wanted on a warrant for forgery.

According to investigators, Wilson is accused of forging three checks belonging to a local Baptist church and cashing them for thousands of dollars.

Detectives worked with a local bank and confirmed the checks were fraudulent.

Police are asking anyone with information on Wilson’s whereabouts to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Callers can remain anonymous.
