Shreveport, LA – On June 27, Shreveport Police responded to a violent assault in the 2800 block of Highland Avenue where a man was struck multiple times with a metal baseball bat.
Officers quickly located the suspect, identified as Stacy Cole, before she could leave the area.
She was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon.
Police reminded the community that while it’s baseball season and temperatures are rising, violence is never the answer. Residents are urged to stay safe and stay cool.
