Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Police Department issued a Silver Alert for a missing 69-year-old woman who was reported missing on December 24, 2025.
Margaret Carter was last known to be in the 4200 block of Lakeshore Drive in Shreveport. She is described as a Black woman, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and gray shorts.
Police said Carter suffers from dementia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), raising concerns for her safety and well-being.
The Shreveport Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for Carter and to report any information regarding her whereabouts immediately.
