Shreveport, LA – The Shreveport Police Department announced plans to implement safety improvements in the Red River District as part of a broader effort to enhance public safety downtown.
Chief Smith and his command staff reviewed strategic plans that include upgrades to camera locations, lighting, and public spaces, as well as updates to city ordinances.
According to SPD, the department will work closely with city partners to ensure the Red River District becomes a safer and more vibrant area for residents and visitors.
