Shreveport, LA – A suspect was taken into custody following a coordinated effort by several law enforcement agencies.

He was apprehended on West Bert Kouns, east of Kingston Road, with assistance from the Caddo Sheriff’s Patrol C-Team, drone unit, and Narcotics Division, along with the Shreveport Police Department’s Patrol, Drone, and K-9 units, and the Desoto Sheriff’s K-9 unit.

The man, Kyle Patrick, will be charged with possession of a firearm or carrying a concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies.

Earlier in the day, just before 10 a.m., Caddo Sheriff’s Deputies were investigating a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle when they encountered the suspect at a Popeyes restaurant on Mansfield Road.

Before deputies could take him into custody, he ran from the restaurant and was last seen behind the Chick-fil-A on Mansfield Road, heading toward the Summer Grove shopping center.

Law enforcement agencies later located and arrested him without further incident.
