Shreveport, LA – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that the southbound lanes of Swan Lake Road at the I-220 interchange in Bossier City will be closed overnight on Monday, December 9, 2024.
The closure is scheduled from approximately 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. to allow contractors to replace the traffic camera mounted on I-220 at this location.
The northbound lanes of Swan Lake Road will remain open and unaffected by this work.
**Restrictions:** Southbound traffic will experience a total road closure on Swan Lake Road during this time.
**Detour:** Southbound motorists will be rerouted onto I-220 westbound, then detoured off at the Airline Drive interchange, back onto I-220 eastbound, and finally to the Swan Lake Road exit.
The department stated that the work is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled if necessary.
