Houston, TX – According to the court documents, the 45-year-old defendant, later identified as Vitcor, was sentenced to life in prison (2 terms) after he was found guilty on multiple charges, including injury to a children. He will have to serve at least 30 years before he is eligible for parole. Prosecutors claim the defendant reportedly abused his partner’s children, ages 3 and 4, by repeatedly beating them, not giving them food, tying them and other crueI things.

According to the court documents, the defendant intentionally abused and trtured the two young children. The investigation process began 4 years ago when both children were admitted to the Texas Children’s Hospital with severe injuries. The hospital staff called the authorities after they realized that the 4-year-old boy suffered a contusion on his face, had marks on his wrists and was severely malnourished. During the tests, hospital staff also discovered that the boy suffered a permanent loss of brain tisue.

The boy’s younger sister was also admitted to the hospital. The responding officers discovered that the 3-year-old girl was admitted with a feeding tube in her nose because she had bIeeding in her intestines, which doctors said was ‘probably caused by trauma’. The little girl also had bruises all over her body and broken ribs. During the investigation process, authorities made contact with the property owner where the defendant and his girlfriend were staying. The property, which didn’t had any shower or kitchen, was not suitable for children, prosecutors said.

The property owner reportedly told investigators that he realized that the defendant and his girlfriend were leaving the children alone at night. When asked about the children, the children’s mother reportedly told him that her children were inside, tied up with zip ties. The unidentified man, who filed a complaint with CPS that month, also asked the defendant why they don’t feed the children, because he noticed that they were being starved. The defendant reportedly said that it’s because it makes the kids have to go to the bathroom.
