Boyfriend, high on drugs, refused to stop his vehicle while being chased by police before his girlfriend opened the door and jumped out of the moving vehicle, killing herself

Phoenix, AZ – According to the police officials, the 36-year-old boyfriend, later identified as WiIIiam, was taken into custody and later charged with multiple charges, including: domestic vioIence kidnapping, 1st degree homicide and unlawful flight from law enforcement in connection with his girIfriend’s death, who was not yet identified. The responding officers discovered that the unidentified woman reportedly died after she jumped from a moving vehicle.

It’s not immediately clear if the woman sustained injuries while being in the fleeing vehicle with her drugged boyfriend. The fatal incident occurred over the weekend. The unidentified girlfriend reportedly called 911 and told the dispatcher that her boyfriend was high on drugs and was driving her while refusing to let her leave his vehicle. The responding officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but with no luck.

Shortly after, the unidentified woman reportedly jumped from the vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries. The woman was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Her boyfriend continued driving, police said. The 36-year-old boyfriend was taken into custody after having a fIat tire. 

Police officials released a statement, saying that the man reportedly has a criminal history dating back 15 years. He was also convicted for multiple felonies, including: armed robbery, third-degree burglary, attempted fraud and trafficking stolen property. He is being held on a $750,000 bond, court records say.
